This project involves the comprehensive refurbishment and aesthetic enhancement of a bespoke 1990s villa, with the objective of reinterpreting the existing structure through a contemporary architectural approach.
The intervention introduces planted balconies and a modern façade articulation, improving the building’s visual rhythm and its integration with the surrounding landscape. The entrance sequence has been fully reconfigured to provide a stronger sense of arrival and spatial coherence.
Internally, the refurbishment employs high-quality materials, including timber cladding and natural finishes, to establish a consistent and tactile interior language. The new swimming pool forms a central visual and social element of the scheme, aligning with the architectural geometry and extending the interior experience outdoors.
The composition emphasises subtle tonal contrasts, a warm material palette, and discreet tiered massing, all contributing to an enhanced environmental performance and visual refinement. The result is a villa that retains the integrity of its original structure while achieving a refined contemporary identity that balances materiality, space and environment.
